QUIET

Is where the answers are
Is the prelude to that moment of change.
In the Void
The truth can be known.
Many are afraid of this
vulnerable place
And fill their lives
with Chaos.
Staving off that which
They believe
Is much too fragile.
Without knowing they
forge ahead
with the barriers in place.
Happiness seems to be had
only through pain
An act of learning.
Wisdom can exist
but only for those
who choose to
"Know Thyself".

WHICH WAY?

Here I sit
Mindful of the
Evil in this
World.
Why do I focus
on Such?
It keeps coming
out in so
many things.
Where is the fleeting
good?
Can I have it
stay with me?
Everyday I help
someone
But they have
so much
more
to learn.
They delight in
their ignorance-
unknowing
At times I wish
I could
return
to that state!
Until I realize
they also
live in
suffering.
To give up one
means the other
goes too!
The opposition
of good versus
evil seems
to have
existed since
time
began.
I
choose
life!!!
